Benefit from our expertise:

We produce complex components, assemblies and bills of materials from a single source – precisely and reliably.

Where does it pinch in everydayspecial machine construction?

Questions many special machine builders are familiar with

  • Do you repeatedly experience quality defects or complaints with critical fasteners that jeopardize safety?
  • Do your technicians have to reorder special parts because the original bill of materials was incomplete?
  • Do missing test certificates or undocumented components delay the approval and commissioning of your system?

Your added value – at a glance

High-strength, weather-resistant materials
We use specially alloyed steels and duplex/super duplex steels (e.g. 1.4410, 1.4462) that reliably absorb extreme tensile and compressive loads as well as changing temperatures. These are supplemented by nickel and titanium alloys for maximum toughness and durability.

Specialized coatings
Corrosion protection through zinc and electroplated coatings, phosphating or anodizing – tailored to many years of outdoor exposure and the special requirements of cable car systems.

Custom-made geometries
Precise manufacturing according to drawing and specification: from special angles and eccentrics to large-format parts > 3,000 mm. Optimum accuracy of fit ensures even load distribution and maximum service life.

Complete inspection procedures / documentation
All destructive and non-destructive tests (hardness, tensile test, crack testing, OES, XRF) as well as geometric measurements are documented. All components are traceable and archived in accordance with standards – for complete security in audits and operation.

From idea to delivery – your project cycle

Avoid costly downtime – with our
seamless project cycle:

A breakdown caused by a single defective component not only slows down your production – it also leads to delays, rising costs and missed delivery dates. This is exactly where our project cycle comes in: as early as consulting & design, we define critical characteristics, in the bill of materials check we close gaps, and through comprehensive quality & documentation we verify every property before the part reaches your plant. This minimizes the risk of unplanned downtime and gives you the decisive edge over competitors who still work with standard solutions.

Materials +processes –precisely combined

Reliable hydraulics start with the choice of materials and processes – and end with precise execution.
Stahlberg implements your specifications exactly: pressure-resistant components, defined surfaces for sealing and sliding points, the tightest tolerances – fully documented and traceable.

Material groups at a glance

  • Quenched and tempered & case-hardening steels (e.g. for piston rods, flanges, housings)
  • Stainless steels & duplex for corrosive media/environments
  • Nitriding and induction-hardening steels for wear-resistant sealing and sliding surfaces
  • Nickel/chrome alloys & coatings for long service life
  • Non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass) for weight or media requirements

Typical processes (as specified)

  • Heat treatment: quenching and tempering, induction hardening, gas/plasma nitriding
  • Surfaces: hard chrome plating/DLC on sliding surfaces, phosphating, ZnNi, Cr(III), anodizing
  • Machining & finishing: turning/milling/grinding/honing, defined Ra (e.g. ≤ 0.8 µm) for sealing surfaces
  • Cleanliness: burr-free, de-oiled/degreased, low-particle as specified

Product solutions at a glance – manufactured exactly to your specifications

Stahlberg does not supply off-the-shelf stock goods, but coordinates the custom manufacturing of all hydraulics-related components – according to drawing, specification and bill of materials, with the right specialist manufacturers, fully monitored and documented.

Our range includes:

  • Fastening technology (special screws, nuts, washers – also high-strength, coated)
  • Precision turned & milled parts (housings, flanges, valve seats, piston/slide guides)
  • Sealing & connection components (threaded parts M/UN/BSP/NPT, adapters, nozzles)
  • Assemblies & assembly kits (fitting and flange side, including sealing and fastening parts)
  • Pipe/valve components (bends, tees, reducers, straps, brackets)
  • Peripherals & spare parts packages (defined surfaces, cleanliness & pressure requirements)

Every item is produced to your specifications – with measurement reports, inspection plans, certificates and archiving.

Holisticprocurement instead of “parts Tetris”

Do you also need seals, adapters, fittings, sensors or electrical add-on assemblies so that your hydraulic system goes into operation on time?

For us, procuring even the smallest special items is a matter of course – and the complete implementation of your bill of materials is the basis of our offer.

Stahlberg looks at your hydraulics project as a whole: we coordinate all items – from high-strength special components and precise sealing and sliding surfaces to terminal strips – documented, on schedule and ready for assembly. This helps you avoid delays, reorders and coordination effort.

We implement holistically:

  • Special components (e.g. piston rods, valve seats, flanges, adapters)
  • Complex assemblies (fitting/flange assemblies including seal packs)
  • Multi-part bills of materials (with cleanliness, pressure and surface specifications)
